The VPCCA Pool Check.  Only $199.00

A VPCCA Pool Check is a pool safety, regulation & compliance inspection to let you know if your pool and spa meet Council, State and legislation requirements - and if not, what needs to happen to make it compliant - And most importantly ready for sign off by an authorised & certified surveyor.

A compliant pool is often not only a legal requirement, but most likely also an obligation under home insurance requirements.
We use a technology driven system to ensure that our inspection captures everything you need to know, providing you with a comprehensive and measured report.
We don’t guess.
We measure against the relevant codes, clearly itemising every part of a compliance process. We provide you with an emailed report that tells you and shows you everything you need to know. We capture and store all you swimming pool information including photos, for your future references, and do so meeting privacy requirements.

Anyone who has a pool or spa, to ensure that the entire pool and spa area is not only safe and in good working order, but is fully compliant and meets all safety obligations.

Landlords who are renting out a property with a pool to ensure that their tenants have a compliant and safe pool environment, that will be covered under the relevant insurance policy.

Home owners installing their own pool or spa can avoid many costly mistakes by getting a VPCCA Pool Check prior to completion.

  • What does this service get you?

A VPCCA Pool Check report will recommend and detail what works need to be undertaken to make your pool or spa safe and compliant, and can recommend appropriate trades to undertake work required, getting it ready for sign off by an authorised & certified independeant surveyor - which we can help you find.

If needed, the VPCCA can also do a follow up Pool Check inspection for just $99.00 to confirm that the required works and recommendations have been appropriately undertaken to enable compliance. If the works are undertaken by either yourself or a third party.

  • What happens after the Pool Check?

If either the initial or follow-up VPCCA Pool Check advises that the pool or spa is most likely fully compliant and safe, then a recommendation is made by VPCCA for the pool to be sign-off by an independent Surveyor.
This isn’t included in the VPCCA Pool Check price, however, the VPCCA has access to a number of qualified Surveyors with whom the best possible prices have been negotiated, and understand our process and reporting data.
Prices for a Surveyor to sign-off on compliance can vary from $350 up to $1000 and is 100% independent of the VPCCA.

Compliance & Safety is not just about having a legal pool fence. Pools and spas tend to be the most neglected aspect of a home, particularly in the winter months, which it the time of year when most problems occur, and not realised until the pool starts to get used again.

  • Why should I get this service?

The starting point for both safety and maintenance after buying or renting a home with a pool or spa begins with an accurate and detailed VPCCA Essentials inspection.

Being proactive not only saves money in preventable repairs as your pool ages, but can also ensure that what was once deemed as safe, is still deemed as being safe, even after just one year of normal wear and tear or extreme weather conditions on your pool.

Pools and Spas can even become a very dangerous environment without knowing - no matter what the age of the pool or spa is - if not properly maintained and repaired. Even if you have someone come and check the water and clean the pool on a regular basis, you can't be assured that your pool & pool surrounds are safe and in the required working condition without a qualified and thorough pool inspection.

A VPCCA Essentials inspection can provide a quick and easy solution to check both compliance, safety and general pool operation.

  • Who is this service for?

Home owners who have an aging pool area can get a VPCCA Essentials inspection to ensure that the entire pool area is safe and in good working order - no matter what time of year.

Landlords can have ongoing & regular VPCCA Essentials inspections as part of their property inspections to ensure the pool or spa is safe and in good working order.

Body Corporate Management can get a VPCCA Essentials inspection to present to the Body Corporate and to estimate budgeted repairs and maintenance costs.
